How to Learn a Foreign Language

| Category: Foreign Language | |

We stumbled across this video (below) over on YouTube. It offers a quick survey of web resources that will teach you foreign languages for free. Among other items, the video mentions our Foreign Language Podcast Collection and, for that, we wanted to say thanks to whoever put this together.

We have a new site (http://www.wordbuddy.com) takes a novel approach in that it lets people share ideas for learning words. There are always those words that we have a tough time remembering… if you could get help from someone for a good acronym to remember it, you could learn faster. This site does just that. First it has the tools for you to figure out a good memory method (eg. break down words & characters into sub-words and radicals OR build up into other words). Then you can share your ideas with other members. In addition, make your own study lists, flash-cards and find language partners. Take a look and we hope that you like.
